It’s finally official. Hubby and I are finally trying to get pregnant. For the past couple of years we’ve been in that “if it happens we’re ready” state of mind, but only recently have we actually decided it’s time to start trying. Well, I decided a long time ago, but he only decided recently that he’s really ready. I look at it like I’m 26 now, and I really want to have a family. Sure the puppy and the cat are great, but there’s nothing like having a baby in the house. I’ve always said I wanted to have my kids by 30, and if we start now there’s a good chance of that still happening because I want 2 kids. Now I’ve just got so much to think about. There’s the prenatal stuff to keep up with like taking my extra vitamins and folic acid to make sure if I do get pregnant my body is prepared. Once I find out I’m pregnant I’ll have to start buying maternity clothes, and then there will be baby items, and eventually I’ll have to worry about clothing that will allow me to nurse. January 8, 2008 – 10:02 am by Chuva. Some women, after giving birth and nursing an infant feel a bit unattractive. There could be severals reasons for this. First, they gained a little bit of weight during pregnancy and after giving birth, they feel that their bodies are in the weirdest shape it’s ever been even though it is understandable. Some even lose their self-confidence because they feel that the extra weight gain makes them look unattractive. When women feel unattractive, and they lose their self-confidence, they tend to not care about their appearance. They start wearing loose fitting clothes to hide the weight gain. But when they start feeling this way, it spirals down and if they don’t pick up their self-confidence back up - they won’t care which could cause more weight gain, lower self-confidence and such. Well there is a way to combat this girls!! I read a book once that said, “If you feel inferior, wear new garments!” And it is absolutely true. You can still look great, and feel great. If you channel yourself to think positively about life, the more you are encouraged to lose the weight you gained during pregnancy and return to the size that you were! My suggestion is to start wearing hip and sexy clothes even during pregnancy. Let your thoughts run wild because being pregnant doesn’t mean you’re unattractive.
